The cheapest way to make an AI rap video (no subscription)

Buy the smallest credit pack, $9.99 for 30 credits with no subscription, and make a 15-second video for 15 credits. For several videos the largest pack is cheapest per video, about $3.12 each, and pack credits never expire.

How the price is worked out

One credit is one second of video. A 15-second video is 15 credits, a 30-second one is 30 credits and the whole 60-second song is 60 credits. Duets, with two faces and two voices, cost 2 credits a second and run 10 or 15 seconds, so the longest duet is 30 credits. Lyrics are free, and every video shows its price before you render it.

You buy credits two ways. A pack is a one-off payment whose credits never expire. A plan renews every month and adds credits each time; unused plan credits expire when the next month arrives. When you have both, plan credits are spent first.

Credit packs: no subscription

PackPrice15 s videosPer video
30 credits$9.992$4.99
90 credits$24.996$4.17
240 credits$49.9916$3.12

For one video, the 30 credits pack is the least money out of your pocket, and it leaves enough for a second 15-second video. For a group gift, a run of birthdays or a few takes on the same rap, the 240 credits pack brings the price per video down to $3.12.

Monthly plans: only if you make videos every month

PlanPer monthCredits a monthPer video
Starter$14.9990$2.50
Creator$19.99150$2.00
Studio$39.99360$1.67

A plan beats a pack per video only if you use most of its credits every month, because the leftovers expire. If you make a rap for a birthday now and then, a pack is cheaper over a year. If you post a rap every week, a plan is.

Yearly billing lowers the plan price further. All current prices are on the pricing page; the numbers here are read from the same catalog.

Six ways to spend fewer credits

  1. Use the free steps first. Lyrics need no account, and the first song preview and first frames are free once you sign in. Fix the words and the photo before you render.
  2. Pick the shortest length that fits. A 10-second video is 10 credits; 15 seconds is the whole hook, which is all a social post needs.
  3. Choose a photo that works on the first try: one face, facing the camera, good light. A bad photo is the usual reason people render twice.
  4. Put the name and the best fact in the hook. Short videos play only the hook, so a strong one means you do not need the longer, pricier cut.
  5. Make the song only if you do not need a video. The full song as an MP3 is 10 credits.
  6. Do not re-render to fix a failed video. A failed render refunds its credits on its own.

Get it right on the first render

The most expensive video is the one you make twice. Almost every second render comes from one of two things: a photo that does not lip-sync well, or lyrics that were not checked. Both can be fixed before a credit is spent.

Use a photo like the ones marked as good: one face, towards the camera, mouth visible, good light. Group photos, side profiles and sunglasses are what make a video look off. The first frame is free, so if the face in it is not right, change the photo and check again.

Packs never expire, so buying the larger pack for a year of birthdays costs nothing extra in waste. Plans make sense only when you know you will use most of the credits each month.

A worked example: one 40th birthday

This sample was made for a 40th birthday party. The lyrics, preview and first frame cost nothing. The 15-second video used 15 credits, so with the smallest pack it cost $4.99 and left 15 credits for another.

What to check when comparing prices elsewhere

The headline price of a rap video tool rarely tells you what one usable video costs. Before you compare, work out the price of the video you actually want, at the length you want, without a watermark.

  • Is the price per video, per second, per credit or per month? Convert it to one 15-second video.
  • Does the cheap tier add a watermark or cap the resolution? If so, it is not the real price of a gift.
  • Do unused credits roll over, expire monthly or vanish when you cancel?
  • Is the song included, or do you need a second tool for the audio?
  • Does a failed or broken render cost you credits?
  • Is a trial set to turn into a subscription unless you cancel?

Here the answers are: credits per second of video, no watermark on any tier, pack credits never expire, the song is part of the video, and a failed render refunds itself. Packs are one-off payments with no trial to cancel.

If you want to spend nothing

Lyrics are free with no account (20 a day), and your first 15-second song preview is free once you sign in. That is enough for a written rap in a card, or to hear the hook before deciding. A full video is never free here, and there are no free credits on sign-up. What is free and what is not goes through every free route.
